Pharmaceutical Technician The Kilimanjaro Sunscreen Production Unit is

through production of sunscreen lotion to prevent the prompt onset of
skin cancer among people with albinism (PWAs). KSPU locally
manufactures and distributes sunscreen lotions to Persons with Albinism
across Tanzania and is a KCMC based unit located and belonging to the
Regional Dermatology Training Center (RDTC), Moshi. KSPU is now seeking
for an enthusiastic, dedicated, committed, experienced, dynamic,
articulate, and motivated Pharmaceutical technician for the following
position to join our team in the struggle to prevent skin cancer among
Persons with Albinism (PWAs) in Tanzania. The KSPU-Technician (KSPU-T)
supports compounding and distribution services by producing and
distributing high protection sunscreens as well as educating and
ensuring compliance among the beneficiaries. Being part of an
international initiative, we are obliged to report to our donors and
stakeholders on monthly and quarterly basis. The KSPU-T must therefore
feel comfortable with and experienced on working with deadlines. We are
a young, creative, proactive and efficient team giving our best to
improve the quality of life to one of the most vulnerable groups in
Tanzania, Persons with Albinism. Note: All qualified candidates are

Employment term: Fixed term contract Qualification, Skills and
Experience • At least a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science. • At least
one years’ experience in compounding services • Computer skills
including Microsoft word, PowerPoint and excel • Good communication and
interpersonal relation skills (Report Writing to meet deadlines) •
Experience in community work will be an added advantage Application
